POWERGRID Notification 2013 for Field Engineer & Supervisor Posts

POWERGRID, A leading Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India and one of the largest Transmission Utilities in the world has been entrusted with establishing and strengthening Optical fibre connectivity to the Gram Panchayats under National Optical Fibre Network Prjoect (NOFN).

POWERGRID has published notification 2013 for engagement purely on temporary (Contractual) basis with consolidated remuneration for a period of 24 months or till completion of project whichever is earlier for execution of NOFN consultancy Project in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Total Number of Posts ; 160 posts

Name of the Posts :

1. Field Engineer : 52 posts
2. Field Supervisor : 108 posts

Educational Qualifications : Candidates should have B. E / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg) / AMIE in Electronics & Communication Engineering for Field Engineer and Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering for Field Supervisor Posts from any recognized university with 55% marks.

Applications Fee : Rs. 200/- for Field Engineer and Rs. 100/- for Field Supervisor. Fee is to be paid in the form of A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of " POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED " Payable at Hyderabad (Preferably drawn on State Bank of Hyderabad). No fee for SC / ST / PWD / Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Selection Procedure : Eligible candidates will be selected on the minimum eligibility standards / criteria and /  or to conduct a screening test, to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Personal Interview.
