Supplementary Notification for the Direct Recruitment of Junior Assistant(LDC) in APCPDCL

In addition to the earlier Notified 100 Nos vacancies of Junior Assistants, another 149 posts of Junior Assistants i.e total of 249 posts of Junior Assistants are proposed for filling-up by way of Direct recruitment. Applications are invited through On-line from the eligible candidates for filling-up of the above posts of Junior Assistants in APCPDCL.

The Revised schedule of dates is given below:
· The last date for payment of fee is 1.00 PM of 08.05.2012
· The last date for submission of application through online is 5.00 PM of 09.05.2012.

On inclusion of another 149 posts of Junior Assistant to the existing 100 No notified posts, the candidates(both In-service contract workers and fresh candidates) who have already submitted the On-line Applications for the post of Junior Assistant (LDC) may access their Application forms, from the website

Age Limitation: – Applicants age must not be more than 36 years and not below than 18 years as on 01st July 2011.
Academic Qualification: – Candidates should be Graduation degree holder either from science, arts or science from any recognized Institution or University and Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma Certificate  in Computer Application discipline from any reputed University or Polytechnic Institution.
Application Fee: – Applicants belonging UR Category shall pay Rs. 500/-  and those candidates who are in the group of SC or ST or BC or PH shall pay Rs. 150/- for Examination Fee along with Application Processing.
Fee Payment Mode: – Applicants can pay the application fee through AP Online Portal or any one of the AP Online Centers.
How to apply: – Candidates who want firstly scan their latest passport size color photograph and signature. Then click on Apply Online Tab. After opening the web page of online application form applicants fill it carefully and upload their photo and signature. Thereafter press submit button to submit the application form. CENTRAL POWER DISTRIBUTION COMPANY OF A.P.LTD. LDC-Cum-Computer Operator Recruitment

Applications are invited On-line through APCPDCL Website www.apcentralpower.com and http://apcentralpower.cgg.gov.in from eligible Graduate candidates for filling up of 14 Nos SC/ST backlog
vacancies of LDC-Cum-Computer Operator
by direct recruitment on regular basis in APCPDCL-Accounts Service. The applications will be accepted from 10.00 AM of 08.03.2011 to 05.00 PM of 08.04.2011. However the Application Processing fee will be accepted at AP-Online Centres from
10.00 AM of 08.03.2011 to 01.00 PM of 08.04.2011.The vacancies are available in the circles of Hyderabad (North), Hyderabad (South), Ranga Reddy (North), Ranga Reddy (South), Nalgonda, Medak, Mahabubnagar
Anantapur and Kurnool.

ELIGIBILITY:
1. AGE: Not below 18 years and shall not be more than 39 years as on
31.12.2010. Upper age limit will be relaxed upto 5 years in respect of P.H
candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
2. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidates should possess all the following qualifications:-

(ii) Must possess the qualification of Diploma in Computer Applications/Post Graduate Diploma in Computer
Applications from any of the recognized University/ Recognized Polytechnic Institutions approved by Director of
Technical Education, Government of A.P./Institutions owned by State or Central Government and Institutions recognized by Computer Society of India (CSI) or a certificate course in Computer Application/Office Automation offered by the institutions recognized by the Government of AP. Must possess the above qualifications from any recognized Institution in India. Should have passed the qualification as on 31.12.2010.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
i) The selection of candidates for appointment will be made purely based on written examination without oral Interview duly following the Rule of Reservation/Local area reservation and other terms notified or modified
from time to time
ii) Only those candidates who qualify in the written examination by being ranked high, community wise will be called for verification of Original Certificates.
(iii) The minimum qualifying marks in the written test for the above selection process shall be 30% or as per rules.
Note: Mere securing minimum qualifying marks doesn’t vest, any right to a candidate for being called for verification of original certificates and by mere calling the candidate for certificate verification doesn’t vest any
right to a candidate for selection.

Energy, Heating effects of Electric current, Magnetic effects, Electro magnetic induction,
Electrostatics. Batteries, Types of Electrical Engineering Materials – Conducting, Semiconducting,
Magnetic, Insulating, Di-electric – Properties and Uses.


UNIT II: D.C.MACHINES & MEASUREMENTS
D.C.Generators: Construction, Operation, types, EMF Equation, Windings, Characteristics,
Efficiency and Parallel operation.
DC Motors: Principle of operation, Back EMF, Torque Equation, Types, Characteristics,
Starters, Speed Control, Losses, Efficiency and Testing.
Measuring Instruments: Classification, Principle of Operation of moving Coil, Moving Iron,
Dynamometer type, Induction type meters. Instrument Transformers, Induction type Energy

The Question paper consists of one hundred multiple choice objective type questions, to be
