Assistant: 506 Posts
Qualifications (as on 06-08-2014): i). At least a Bachelors degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC. ii). A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category should either be a graduate from a recognised university or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service. iii). Candidates applying for post in a particular state should be proficient in the language of the state i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language.

IBPS CWE FOR RURAL BANK RECRUITMENT ALSO

NABARD has issued an advertisement in the news papers for General Public regarding the new procedure for recruitment of Officers and Assistants in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) (Gramin Bank).
 The advertisement says :

Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services has decided to introduce a Common Written Examination (CWE) to be conducted by Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) for recruitment of Officers and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in RRBs. The IBPS will conduct the examination and issue a valid Score Card to all the qualifying candidates, which will be pre-requisite for candidates to to apply for above mentioned cadres in the RRBs, when the RRBs advertise the recruitment. Details can had from Employment News and other news papers, as also from the web sites of IBPS and concerned RRBs.
Thus it shows that Government has decided to make a common examination for all the candidates want to apply in Gramin Bank, like it is currently applying for most of the Nationalised Public Sector Banks. This will be a good opportunity for candidates to appear for only one examination in the years and get quality for all the RRBs.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: A Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of India.
IBPS Score Requirement: Valid IBPS score obtained in Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers (POs) / Management Trainees (MTs) 2011-12 with a minimum score of 130 for General category and 125 for SC/ ST/OBC/ PWD category.
NOTE: Candidates should also secure minimum marks, i.e. 24 for General category and 21 for Reserved Categories, in each subject including descriptive test in CWE.
Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 30 years
Pay Scale: Rs 14500 - 600 x 7/ 18700 -700 x 2/ 20100 - 800 x 7/ 25700
Selection Procedure: Candidates shall be selected on the basis of interview (100 marks) in order of merit of IBPS score card in the ratio as decided by the Bank (keeping in view the minimum criteria of 1:4 (1:5 in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD).
Minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be 40% (35% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates). Marks obtained in interview will be reckoned for merit ranking. Candidate not passing in interview will not be considered for final selection.
However, bank reserves the right to change the selection strategy and hold Group Discussion and/or Interview.In case of Bank conducting Group Discussion, the same will be of qualifying nature prior to interview round. Group Discussion will be of 50 marks and those candidates who score minimum qualifying marks in Group Discussion, i.e. 40% for General category and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD, will be called for interview. Marks scored in Group Discussion will not be considered for merit ranking.
Interview Centres: The personal interview will be tentatively held at major centres of the country.
Application Fee: Fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 200 and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates is Rs 50.
The fee can be paid either in the form of Payment challan by visiting nearest Dena Bank's Branch or by way of ‘NEFT' by visiting any Scheduled Commercial Bank.   • NEFT: Go to the nearest branch of any Bank who is listed by RBI under RTGS/ NEFT System and pay the appropriate Application Fee in Account No. 116211021139 with Corporate Business Branch, BKC, Mumbai - 51 in the name & style of "Dena Bank - Rectt Pro for PO - 2012". Obtain the applicant's copy of Counterfoil of the Application Fee duly receipted by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & Code Number, (b) UTR Number, (c) date of Deposit & amount filled by the Branch Official.
How to Apply: Candidates need to apply online on the bank's website http://www.denabank.com No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.

Here are some of the Details of 8500 Assistant vacancies in the State Bank of India.Candidates must read the Details below for applying Online for Assistant Vacancies in the SBI
Number of Vacancies:  8500 (Gen-3145, SC-2069, ST- 1337, OBC- 1949).The vacancies listed there also includes those vacancies that were advertised in the previous SBI Clerical Advt for SC/ST/OBC.
Pay scale: Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.
Probation Period: 6 months.Probation period is the time period during which the performance of newly appointed Candidates will be evaluated.If the Performance of candidates is satisfactory after the Probation period then HE/SHE will be regularised there by ending his/her probation period.
Eligibility Criteria: Interested Candidates who wish to apply for 8500 Assistant vacancies in the SBI must posses the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

(I) Payment of Fees (Offline): Candidates who wish to apply with Offline Fee Payment method must fill their Online Application at www.statebankofindia.com. Candidates must carefully fill the Online Application form by following the On-Screen Instruction.After submitting the Online Application form, the system will generate a Fee Payment Challan.This Fee Payment must be printed and used for Payment of Application fee in the State bank of India.After the Payment of Application fees, the registration process is completed.
(II) Payment of Fees (Online): In this case, candidates are required to Submit their applications Online at the  www.statebankofindia.com. and deposit their Application fees Online by using VISA/Master Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking.After the Payment of Application fees the system will generate an e-receipt that must printed and preserved as a record.After Submitting the Online Application, the System will generate an Application form that must be printed and preserved till the final selection
