IBPS CLERKS RECRUITMENT

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducting a Common Written Examination (CWE) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Participating Organisations listed in the notification will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in November/ December 2013.

Clerical Cadre: 
Qualifications: Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations / Language / should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School / College / Institute. Proficiency in the Official Language of the State / UT (candidates should know how to read / write and speak the Official Language of the State / UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable. (Some questions may be put at the time of interview to ascertain the candidate’s familiarity with the Official Language of the State/UT).

Age (As on 01.08.2013): 20 - 28 years

Applications Fee: Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates and Rs. 600/- for all others candidates.

For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

IBPS CWE for Rural Bank for Officer and Office Assistant posts

Like we have reported earlier, IBPS, an autonomous body, has been authorised and has received mandates to conduct Common Written Examination (CWE) for the posts of Officers and Office Assistant  (Multipurpose) for Regional Rural Banks (Gramin Banks). 

Applications are invited for the first CWE for Rural Banks Officer posts (Scale-I,II and III) and Office-Assistants, for which CWE will be conducted on 02/09/2012 for Officers and 09/09/2012 for Office-Assistant posts.

Those will be successful in the Common Written Exam (CWE) will be given a scorecard (Like CAT exam of IIM) and may apply to any of the participating rural bank when they come up with their job vacancy and then these successful candidates have quote their personal details and their CWE scores. This score card will be valid for one year from the date of issuance.

 Each of the bank will issue individual recruitment notifications, details of  vacancies, eligibility criteria etc. separately.

How to Apply for CWE :  Candidates need to apply Online at IBS website from 01/06/2012 to 25/06/2012 only.
